在煤炭开采业,CDM项目主要用于CH4(甲烷)回收后发电供热。CH4多见于煤层当
中,由于该气体在矿井中具有爆炸的危险,一直以来被煤炭开采企业通风直接排放
到大气中,从而带来了温室气体排放。回收CH4并将之转化为电能,可以在获得发
电收益的同时,大大减少温室气体排放量。

在钢铁、水泥、铝、电力制造业,CDM项目主要通过提高能源效率和更换燃料来减
少温室气体的排放。比如,高炉节能技术改造、高效低损耗电力输配系统改造和升
级、高耗能工业设备和工艺流程节能改造、天然气燃料车、北方城市推广天然气或
地热集中供热等。另外,还包括水泥厂减排二氧化碳及余热发电工艺、钢铁厂转炉
煤气回收等。
